The Primary Holiday Concert is on Wednesday, December 21st at 2:00 p.m. Our class will be performing our "Jingle Bell Rock" dance and many of our students will also be performing with the primary choir. We hope parents can join us on Wednesday afternoon for this special celebtration!

We have started learning about writing procedures. Today the students told me the procedure for making a bagel with cream cheese and I acted it out. We found out how important it is to be specific when you are writing your steps! Please try to find a procedure at home and bring it in to share with the class. Some ideas are recipes, instructions for making crafts, lego instructions, game instructions, directions, instructions for how to set up furniture, etc. It will be fun to see all of the different procedures students are able to find at home!

From,
Ms. Ferguson :)

Once again, Winston decided to get dressed up for the holidays.

Students, please respond to the following question by posting your answer as a comment on our class blog. We will be taking some time to do this together during computer time on Wednesday.

What is your favourite meal that includes at least one item from each of the four food groups?

Remember, the food groups are:
1. Fruits and Vegetables
2. Milk Products
3. Grain Products
4. Meat and Alternatives

Here are some activities to help you learn more about the food groups:

1. Sorting Food Groups Game

2. Quintricious

I look forward to reading your comments.
Ms. Ferguson :)
