We had the chance to watch a monarch caterpillar transform into a chrysalis and then a butterfly right in our classroom! The slideshow below shows all of the important changes that we observed while the caterpillar was living in our classroom. We have been writing recounts about our experience with our classroom caterpillar to tell what happened to it first, next and finally.
